Special Thanks From Glenburn Fire Department!
Following the March 2021 station fire, many local and regional businesses and departments stepped up to help us out. Below is a list of those, but there were many additional individuals who also donated money, time, and effort to help. Many of the organizations listed below also gave cash donations to help out also. All of these are also greatly appreciated.
(Please be patient while we update this list – If you donated and don’t see your name here, please contact us. We want to recognize everyone who donated to make the return of the fire department possible. Chief Overton – 701-833-1193)

Grants or Other Donations:
- The Leary Firefighters Foundation generously donated to the Glenburn RFPD towards the completion of the new fire station. One of our greatest needs following the fire was the rebuilding of the fire station itself, and money for a building can be difficult to acquire. So we want to extent a special thanks to the Leary Firefighters Foundation for their generosity in helping to rebuild our department and help make our community safe. The foundation purchased the interior lining of the new fire-station.
- Farden Construction generously donated the use of their heavy equipment building in Glenburn for us to use while we were awaiting the construction of our new building. They also contributed in numerous ways to the rebuilding efforts here. Their generosity and commitment to the fire station was instrumental to the operations of the department during the two years we did not have a building.
- Steven’s Welding has continually aided our station in the construction and manufacturing of much needed parts/supplies both before the rebuilding effort and during the rebuilding effort. Thank you for all you have done for us and continue to do for us.
- Firehouse Subs awarded the Glenburn Rural Fire Station money to purchase an air bottle refill station. These stations are critical in every department for the safe refilling of breathing air in the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBAs) which firefighters use every day. The Firehouse Subs grant program makes public safety throughout the country a priority of their business. Thank you for your donation.
- North Star Community Credit Union donated to the rebuilding of the fire station, additionally they purchased a large screen TV to use in our training room. NSCCU customers live throughout our fire district and will benefit from North Star’s generous donation.
- The Rural Community Grant Program donated a significant sum of money to replace much needed gear and equipment that was destroyed in the fire.
- Go Fund Me – Hundreds of people contributed through the website gofundme.com. Through this web fundraising platform organized by Clark Stevens, $25,000 was raised for the benefit of our department. Thank you to all who contributed!
- Ag Country Farm Credit Services donated Grain Bin Rescue Equipment, greatly increasing our ability to respond to entrapped individuals on a farm.
- SUPERVAC donated a new battery powered ventilation fan to replace the one destroyed in our station fire
- ND Soybean Council donated 5 new tires plus installation for one of our Brush units.
- Egard Watch Company donated much needed financial assistance to the rebuilding of the fire hall.
- Harbor Freight Tools donated a gift card to help in the purchase of tools and equipment for the fire hall.
